Mueller Industries is a third generation family owned and operated metal manufacturing shop that develops and produces high-quality and innovative tooling, machining, metal fabrication, special machinery, and blacksmithing. The late Louis Mueller formed the company in the early sixties, and it continues to operate in the industrial heartland of Saint Louis, Missouri. Starting as a tool and die shop, Mueller designed and built dies for production and precision forging. Mueller’s primary customers in the early years were local stamping shops, and also designing and building dies for precision forgings supplied to Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas. In the first decade of the 21st century, following the trends of technology, innovation, and a need for their competitive services, Mueller Industries expanded into CNC machining, custom stainless and aluminum fabrication and hot forming.
In 1984, Bill Heimann owner of Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc. (PCI) contacted Mueller Industries to help develop and manufacture medical supply carts. Mueller Industries designed the long-term carts for PCI and produced all components for carts to be readily assembled. After PCI purchased TransAid, our engineer Greg Mueller designed radius corners to totally enclose the tubular frame. This revolutionized the aesthetics of the cart we produce today. In 2000, Mueller began a 20 year relationship with Specialty Carts, producing all components for their line of carts.
Effective March 2022, we are proud to announce our own medical cart line using almost 40 years of experience to produce the quality and service this industry has come to expect.
